Integrate your Evernote account with Google Apps

It is possible to leverage your Google Apps Contacts to make the sharing of Evernote Notebooks easy.

Goal

After completing these steps, email addresses in Evernote Notebook Sharing should auto-populate for people in your CA Google Mail Contact, just like in email and document sharing.

Unlike the dangerous method of using a school Google Apps account to Sign Up for another service, leveraging your account with another service can be pretty incredible. As always, the best course of action is to check with the Tech Department before trying an integration, either by searching the CA-provided Help documentation or by submitting a Help Request.

 
Integrating your CA Google Apps Contacts Directory with Evernote:
 
Open up the web browser that you use with CA's Google Apps. Login to your CA Connect account, and into Google Apps. This will load your Google Apps account into your browser. 
 
Sign into your Evernote Premium web account (this will not work on the desktop client or mobile apps, or with a free account). 
 
1) Click on the Dropdown menu by your name. (Top right)
2) Click on Settings. (Top Right)
3) Click on Connected Services. (Bottom Left)
4) Click on the Connect button under Google. (Bottom Center).
 
 
You will then be presented with a window indicating that Evernote is requesting permission to access your CA Connect Contacts. Make certain that the email address in the top right window is your CA Connect email address. 
 
Choose Allow Access.
 
 
Now you should be all set. When you try to Share an Evernote Notebook, and start typing in people's names, their CA Connect accounts should auto-populate.
